It works, thanks. Do we know when it will be fixed ? |
I'm also having trouble downloading today. No error. But it stops at the same post every time and only grabs post descriptions and embeds. No images, videos, audio, etc. I tried starting with a fresh copy of PatreonDownloader, as well as adding a Here's my command for reference:

I tried it and it seems ok. The alternate account in the mega_credentials.json file is the mega.nz account, not the patreon account. |
I totally missed that OPs issue was related to the Mega plugin. My mistake. But you're saying you were able to pull images/etc with that command? Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It's the same command I've had saved in the past and the same PatreonDownloader version. Strange. |
It works with your Patreon credentials in the json file, but it's not downloading everything like it used to. It seems like it goes up to a certain date and doesn't download images/content, although it will download the post descriptions. |
It strangely solved my issues, before creating mega_credentials.json the app only seemed to scan the account but didn't download anything. Once i created the mega_credentials.json the app started downloading again, even though i'm sure the account i tested it on didn't have any mega link in them. |
I am having the same issue. |
@Hecatom Make sure that the mega plugin is actually signing in by adding the
But I've noticed that even with the credentials file it stops working within a few hours. The solution I've found is to login into my mega account on a browser, go to settings, security, logout of all active sessions including the current browser session, and then log back into the same browser. Somehow that allows the mega plugin to login and run for an hour or so until it expires. The credentials don't last long and I seem to need to do this to get a new MegaApi token or something. |
Mega broke something on their side a while ago, even official apps/websites are having issues. gpailler/MegaApiClient#248 I've been able to get mega downloading working semi-reliably by opening mega website in a browser (while logged in into the account set in If you do not care about downloading mega files you can just delete |
How do I make a mega_credentials.json? |
I don't even see any mega files from that creator, why does it want to login for mega ? |
Mega plugin will be updated in the next release to not crash the application if it cannot log in. This doesn't solve the log in issue though, so for everyone willing to continue using mega plugin for the time being you can follow the recommendations provided by the mega themselves:
The details of why everything broke down can be read here: gpailler/MegaApiClient#248 (comment) |
There also seems to be an issue with downloading external files through dropbox, vimeo, and google drive or even just .rar files. It just fails to retrieve the URL or some of the time it just downloads a link into the folder as a txt file but doesn't actually have the content. I believe this MAY be the relevant error.
These videos and galleries don't even require for you to log in, you just need the relevant link or they are just embedded into the feed directly. How do I resolve this so I can just download all of the content in a single request instead of having to go post by post? |
Now I can't load the image like before. It shows error like image, can you help me?
