ScreenScraper scraping only using 1 thread?

So I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour, but I paid to upgrade my ScreenScraper account to 6 threads, and it does work if I use ScreenScraper directly, but if I use the scraper within EmulationStation, the speed it's going at in comparison makes me think it's only using 1 of the threads still instead of all 6. I tried searching for this in the issues list but I did not see anything matching, apologies if this has already been reported.
