Ability to turn off sun glow... #769
Comments
The project I'm working on doesn't have any folks who want to turn off the glow. What they want is the glow to reflect more closely the accurate size of the Sun. In STK, the inner "brightest" part of the glow aligns with the actual limb of the Sun, but in Cesium the Sun is far too big (the innermost brightest part of the glow is probably double or more the size of the Sun). If we make the inner glow the correct size, they'll be happy. |
Angular diameter should be 32 arcminutes, 1920 arcseconds or 0.53 degrees @bagnell can we look at this soon? |
From the Earth, yes, but of course our implementation should show the correct size from any viewing distance. |
...to see actual size of sun for optical sensors...
