Similar to Stargate Psychosis in both symptoms and cause, when a critter becomes Uplifted, upon waking, they immediately lose the ability to move, eat, or sleep, and they become unrescuable and never fully are Downed.

Unlike Stargate Psychosis, the creatures do not turn into indestructible, unkillable immortal godlings. They can still receive damage and still die of starvation.

Like Stargate Psychosis, it is caused by some missing Def object, probably a Verb related to mid-tier Sentience.

Previously-uplifted critters (after save reload) who become Fully Uplifted to full human-level sentience do NOT experience Uplifted Psychosis.

Uplifted Human Colonists also never experience Uplifted Psychosis.

Uplifted critters that ONLY receive a Backstory seem to develop the condition, and this is the major clue. The creatures also do not experience its affects while sleeping, but upon waking, they will never be able to fall asleep again. When the Rest bar reaches 0, the game will continually spam messages that the creature has fallen due to tiredness, but nothing ever happens.
