CRF28: patp: 3648 x 2763 x 1554 = 15.66 gigapixels. Size is 8.7 GB for mp4+webm. 4.44 bits / pixel.

brassica: 19704 x 7744 x 2950 = 450 gigapixels. Size is 173GB for mp4+webm. 3.08 bits / pixel

CRF26: heinz breathecam 2015-01-03: 8970 x 1733 x 1428 = 22.2 gigapixels. Size is 23 GB for only mp4. 8.3 bits / pixel.

CRF24: USDA 24764 * 8076 * 168 = 33.6 gigapixels. Size is 103GB for both. 24.5 bits / pixel
How about:
30: 3.5 bits / pixel
28: 5 bits / pixel
26: 16 bits / pixel
24: 25 bits / pixel
