[DataGrid] Checkbox needs 3 clicks.. Why? ComboBox was trimmed to 2 clicks via #3161

As the title says. It's very annoying if you have a lot of checkboxes and you have to click so many times just to alter a check? If you have 5 rows of a check you have to toggle.. It's 3 clicks for every row.

This issue is the same of #3438 but it has been closed. But I ask why?

This issue: #3438 was the same it seems for a combobox, but it was fixed via a PR.

Could we see the same love for the CheckBox?

Edit: Perhaps there could be an option to disable a need for 'entering edit mode' and making live edits?
