Gather 'round, y'all, and lend an ear to this tale of tech gone by. It's been nigh on ten years since we moseyed on over from the dusty ol' "Administrators (ampusers)" menu item to the spiffy new User Manager for corralling our admin users. A decade, folks - that's longer than a coon’s age in tech reckonin'!

Now, I ain't one to kick a gift horse in the mouth, but that ol' "Administrators (ampusers)" menu has been sittin' there like a tumbleweed in a ghost town, unused and unloved, while User Manager’s been doin’ the heavy liftin’. It’s a relic of a bygone era, a dusty old boot from a time when sideburns were king and dial-up was cutting-edge. Ten years past its prime, this menu item’s just takin’ up space like a broke-down wagon on the trail.

So here’s my humble feature request: let’s take that "Administrators (ampusers)" menu out back, give it a fond tip of the hat, and put it down like Old Yeller. A clean shot, a quick end - remove it from FreePBX entirely. User Manager’s the new sheriff in town, and we don’t need this ol’ deputy hangin’ around, confusin’ the posse. Let’s send it off to that great GUI graveyard in the sky and keep things lean and mean.

I’d bet my last biscuit you clever code-slingers can git ‘er done quicker than a jackrabbit on a hot griddle. Whaddya reckon? Let’s bury this fossil and ride off into the sunset.

I agree with Mr [Jesse} James on this matter.

This was a goal of the 17 release, with updates to the OOBE as necessary. The last features provided by the ampusers page were to allow admin login for cxpanel, support for which was removed in 17. This module provides no other utility that isn't already done, and done better by userman.

With 17 in GA, a conservative approach would be to remove in next major ver.
