Had big trouble with passwords. I can live with the fact that they'er not visible, but 9 out of 10 times the passwords I typed were not accepted, and I must have had them right a few of those 9 times. Extra problem: once a password is typed, it is impossible to delete it. So if you try it three times, a password like 'test' will become 'testtesttest', which you can't see, and of course will never be accepted. That's too much for me. After five years Lucida Grande I'm going to switch to San Francisco. Shame.

I'm on High Sierra, and everything works for me (except the invisible passwords, of course). It deletes the passwords perfectly, if I keep pressing the backspace.

That’s true, biziclop, but you can’t see that there is something to delete and how much you have to delete, so you’re never sure. Plus I have the idea that the issue is bigger, reason why I had so much problems getting passwords accepted, although I’m sure they were correct. So I think it’s justified to warn people.

Yes, please look at the issue I've just submitted.

Please kindly release a cleanup/uninstall script. Even though I find the Lucida font much more readable, it is not acceptable to break the password font character.

Cmd + A before hitting Backspace and you are good to go. Not sure about getting wrong password issue though.
