I would like this as well. Very useful for UI tests, when we can control the tests. I.e. we don't want the experiments turning on randomly when running tests, thereby failing the tests due to unexpected behaviors.

E.g. language server shouldnt turn on when testing specifically for Jedi (without making changes to settings.json).

Would be great to also turn on an experiment (explicitly) via some drinks, though the purpose of sick a setting would currently be only for UI tests.
