Javascript error on opening windows desktop app #35826

Description:

Windows desktop app does not open, and returns a Javascript error. Community Support issue was filed; the response was to "log a bug".

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://www.rocket.chat/download-apps and download the windows app.
  2. Install the rocketchat-4.3.2-win.exe file on the laptop.
  3. Click on the Rocket Chat icon to open the desktop app.

Expected behavior:

App would open.

Actual behavior:

The app does not open, and this error message appears:

  • Operating System: Windows 10

Additional context

I was able to find version 4.3.1 online, installed and opened without issues on Windows 10.

Same version and error on the latest stable build of Windows 11.

Same issue here, updated the app through automatic update and it stopped working.
