DateRangeSelection loses first selection when jumping month or year

What is the issue and how can we reproduce it?

Error:

My first selection of a date gets lost.

Expected behavior:

After jumping to a month or year I should be able to select the second date not the first date again, just like when using the arrow button to switch months.
