Toggle auto_show documentation with keymap

Feature Description

Hello!
I find the automatic documentation popup when I select a completion option a bit too overwhelming, so I disabled auto_show by default and configured a keymap to commands "show_documentation" and "hide_documentation".

However, when the documentation is opened and if I change the selection, it does not update (I believe that's also the role of auto_show). Is it possible to make this available ? Or perhaps is there some recipe I do not know to have it ?

Thank you for the fast reaction! Sorry to reopen this but unfortunately, the opposite effect is now happening : if I close the docs, it reopens when I change selection. I would expect it not to open, but it seems auto_show is set to true once and for all. I'm sorry to bother if this is intended.
