Feature or enhancement

I really like the multi-update tool. I would love for this tool to extend to taxon names and namespaces as well.

For example, we will have an excel spreadsheet of hundreds of taxon name updates: hundreds of specimens with different taxon names and OTUs. If we could copy and paste the new taxon names and OTUs in a column with the corresponding catalog number, en masse, that would be great.

For namespaces similar to this issue #4188 we sometimes have to update from one namespace to another in batches. Not sure the unify would work in this instance.

Can you clarify- do you mean adding new TaxonNames and TaxonDeterminations simultaneously, or just new TaxonDeterminations based on matching TaxonName/OTU#name data?

Ah, yes, not clear on my part - sorry.

We would copy and paste existing taxon names and determinations simultaneously in order to update the specimen records.
Here is an example of a list of a few specimens to update to the new species.

I guess if it was a new taxon name to TW, there could be an warning message.
