We could either add a reoccurring refresh in the background or have a refresh button to allow users to manually refresh.

I believe the reoccurring refresh in the background after x amount of time would be best.

Thoughts?

I think an update button on top-right of both views would be good. The code would have to check whether they are up to date already or not, there's a separate ticket for that.
