This will take some tweaking to get really good but something like:

  • hovering on a column heading show the edges of that column so its easy for a reader to compare values
  • hovering on a cell should highlight the row so a user can quickly check what paper etc. they are on.
  • perhaps we need a second heading row, above the current one, that shows the scope of a column, e.g., "Behavior" which then has a few behavior column headings below it. Unselected scopes just remain as the scope name heading
  • we need to think about how we think about column width but sometimes they are getting pushed pretty narrow or off screen. Perhaps we can have some simple rule based way of determining width of a column.
  • Sticky headers row frozen rows at top and columns on left.

I like the hovering and second row! I think the second row needs to be styled more like the first row and needs stick behavior too.
