I am having the same issue as #9366

The latestOk API returns an empty object. I've tried this with both the com.github and my custom domain but neither work.

This is an upstream issue specific to your project on jitpack, not a problem with shields.

The person who posted that was able to get it sorted by raising an issue on https://github.com/jitpack/jitpack.io about it. That would seem to be the best option to get this fixed.
