This would allow to create a one liner that opens the editor with history imported already.

Optimally:

  • If the query string is provided the data form field not just prefilled but the import action should be triggered
  • and the page opens the edit tab right away

May not work, my project with less than 100 commits outputs a 12kb long string of base64.
It pops a Error: URI Too Long when I try to pass it as query string

Actually, if we take only 10 commits, it's ok, here is it: alcalyn.github.io/git-history-editor/

We can click the url printed in terminal. But we still need to click "Import", I tried to make it automatically, but didn't succeed
