assert stderr in all cli tests

we should make sure no errors or warnings are being reported in the tests.

for example all our examples right now use the old implicit whiskers version requirement syntax (no caret) which should be raising a warning, but those tests ignore stderr so they continue to pass because the template is still rendered.
