Good question, I feel like I would have only closed it if I had found the license, but I'm not seeing it. No idea really, and so:

Actually, the readme says "MIT Licensed" - but its really not expected for the license to be given as a small note in the readme. There should be a license file detailing the license.

Oh, I missed the bullet-point saying 'MIT Licensed' in the readme, I only checked the bottom of the file.

But you are right, there should be a proper license file! And when it's added, a 'license' field should also be added to the package.json.

I'm closing my own issue since it's just a duplicate of this one.
