Back in the day there was a PR submitted to introduce methods supporting publish/subscribe functionality (#144). However, the pubsub method itself is missing, yet it's defined in redis-rb: https://github.com/redis/redis-rb/blob/81e4190faaa725db327b9315adda9338afc8583b/lib/redis.rb#L2235. Are there plans to implement it sometime in the near future, or shall I give it a try?
