I noticed very quickly after installing this extension that files are stored even after restarting atom.

Does this extension ever remove files from the cache, or are these deep hidden files kept on the system forever?

(The folder on macOS is /var/folders/.../.../.../.../ftp.host.com/path/on/server/to/your/file.ext, which is why i say "deep hidden files")
