Problem

There is currently no mechanism by which users can extend the functionality of the application.

Expected behavior

It would be a great addition to the app to be able to create community-based extensions that interact with Alcove via an event bus, similar (in some ways) to how Sketchybar works.
This implementation would ease the burden of developing new features in the app and give more freedom to advanced users.
