Option to hide the Alcove if Mission Control is currently open

Problem

When I open Mission Control on an external monitor, the Alcove blocks view of the titles of the different spaces. While this doesn't really impede functionality, it does look rather odd (see attached screenshot).

Expected behavior

The Alcove hides itself when Mission Control is opened while on an external monitor.
