could be possible implement a timeout with techone/ iter function? sometimes it's usefull, i have a big binlog (1G+) and since i'm ignoring some tables/events, it hit a lot the continue keyword, and i have more than 10seconds "stalled", maybe a "heartbeat like" but at client side could help, something like raising a "pythonclientheartbeat"

this is usefull to save position of client side too, and receive kill signals and stop application
