Came across this while trying to help Chris: The EC election results were published in #253 though @ellisonbg and @fperez are still listed in @jupyter/executive-council team, we thank them for their service in that capacity.
I did not remove them as this message popped up
So either Brian and Fernando can confirm that they won't be impacted by such a removal (I don't know if EC has any private repos), or they can just remove themsleves.
To do
Add new members to the github team
Remove outgoing members from the team
Waiting for outgoing member tasks to be complete before we can do this

Update executive council GitHub team with 2025 election results
Feb 20, 2025
Brian and I are helping for a little bit with the transiiton while Rick and Chris onboard, just for continuity. We'll go through with the actual removal of our membership in the repos/teams once we've confirmed any tasks that might be assigned to us have been either completed or transferred, to avoid leaving anything dangling.
