Combining a passkey entry with an existing password+TOTP entry

When I set up a passkey, I wasn't able to select my existing entry in KeePassXC to store the passkey. Instead, it created a new entry. The two entries don't appear to have any conflicting attributes. Now I've got two entries for the same account that I'd like to combine into one. That way, the browser extension doesn't offer me the passkey entry that lacks a password when I need the password from my other entry. I know I could manually copy and paste each of the additional attributes from the passkey entry to the more complete entry, then delete the passkey entry, but is that the recommended way to do this or is there a reason why I should maintain separate entries?

So when you created your passkey from the browser it didn't ask if you want to add it to an existing entry? Or did it ask but you didn't do that? Ultimately I recommend just moving your password over to the passkey entry, less copying.

It's not fresh in my memory because I did it a few weeks ago, but I would have tried adding it to an existing entry if that was an option. Maybe my password entry didn't match on the URL that was offering the passkey or something. You've basically answered my question, though. I just want to make sure there's nothing wrong with combining them, and I was kind of hoping there was a way to automatically merge properties of one entry into another but manual copying is okay. Thank you.
