+* Jenkins will require Java 11 from September LTS release [#2984](https://github.com/nodejs/build/issues/2984)
+  * Going to need to update Java on the 2 CI servers
+  * Jenkins will drop support for Java 8. Sept LTS release will drop
+  * Recommended but don’t have to update the agents
+  * They now support Java 11 and Java 17
+  * Stewart, 17 is an LTS release, already done at adoptium and went to 17
+     saw perf improvements
+  * Richard, for release can probably just switch streams, for test we’ll need to pull
