Support for Spring Batch Metrics Without Java Agent

I would like to ask whether OpenTelemetry currently supports Spring Batch metrics and tracing using only libraries (without relying on the Java agent).

From what I understand, there is no library now to auto instrument Spring Batch without Java agent.

1. Is there an official way to enable Spring Batch instrumentation using OpenTelemetry libraries?
2. Are there any plans to provide built-in support for Spring Batch metrics and tracing without the Java agent in the future?

Currently there is no library instrumentation for spring batch. If you so wish you may create an issue for adding the library instrumentation for spring batch. Keep in mind that creating an issue does not imply that anybody will work on it. We rely on vendors and individuals helping out with implementing instrumentations that they are interested in.
