REST API for listing code scanning analyses for a repository

In the REST API Docs for List code scanning analyses for a repository, the text states

Lists the details of all code scanning analyses for a repository, starting with the most recent.

But in the example response

[ { [...]
"created_at": "2020-08-27T15:05:21Z",
[...] },
{ [...]
"created_at": "2020-08-31T22:46:44Z",
[...]
}]

the most recent analysis is listed last. Why is that? How can I extract the date of the most recent code scanning analysis?

Looks like the docs are just using a contrived sample... the default is direction is descending sorted by created date:

vs
