RLS: 1.4.3 #46610
Comments
HI, I am wondering when this release is going to happen. Is there an estimate date? |
soon
could be this weekend. |
@simonjayhawkins, thanks for the answer! |
#45637 was labelled a blocker following the discussion in the April dev meeting. It is probably only truly a blocker for the final 1.4.x release. There are now sufficient fixes to warrant a 1.4.3 release and there are plenty of open issues milestoned 1.4.3 to almost guarantee another release in 1.4.x if we do 1.4.3 now. so i think safe (but not ideal) to ignore the blocker label on #45637 and proceed with the 1.4.3 release also several regressions (#46983, #46848, #47172 and #47188) all pointing back to #43406 (the fix for #46848 would be orthogonal) |
discussed in today's dev meeting. probably not till next week to have chance to address #45637 |
Hopefully get #47372 through tomorrow and release Thursday. |
created https://github.com/pandas-dev/pandas/milestone/96 for 1.4.4. feel free to move any issues across that require more discussion. will move the rest later today/tomorrow |

windows-latest actions-38.yaml and windows-latest actions-39.yaml timing out, common issue lately, also on main |
Travis CI (used for aarch64 on PyPI) is not running on the test PR. Should run on release, but it would not surprise me in the least if this fails as we have changed our min req version of Cython. (conda-forge/pandas-feedstock will probably also need an update, will probably do the release PR manually rather than waiting for bot) |
starting release now
|
all except linux_aarch64_numpy1.19python3.8.____73_pypy and linux_aarch64_numpy1.19python3.9.____73_pypy |
no serious issues reported for 1.4.3 thus far. will announce shortly. |
Tracking issue for the 1.4.3 release.
