I'm also on Windows 10, but unable to reproduce this on my setup. My versions are a little different.
What other extensions are you running? Have you tried disabling everything except for crates to make sure that is the extension causing issues? |
I've just updated Windows other day, so fingers crossed that fixed it, but I doubt it. The only rust-related extension I have is the official rust analyzer. If nothing else, I'll just uninstall everything and start over, and hopefully that'll help. I'm just working my way through the opening few chapters of the rust book and don't have any projects, so it's not a big deal to do that. |
Im suspicious that it could be an issue with a completely unrelated extension. That is why I suggested to disable all extensions because you can do it in the extensions view by clicking on the |
I think this is possibly a duplicate of 119 I just ran in to is on Windows 11 / Ubuntu in WSL and adding the Better TOML extension fixed it for me |
Describe the bug
I'm new to Rust, and I've just installed crates, so everything should be clean. Yet when I select any of the three command, I get the error "Command 'Crates: Retry to fetch Cargo.toml' resulted in an error (command 'crates.retry' not found)." Adjust error message as necessary for the other commands of course.
