RL 2.0 Comm issues #722

Having major issues with comms since upgrading RL firmware to 2.0 and running 1.54 dev. See attached log from Loop. The situation we have trouble with is when the phone gets too far away from the RL and it gets stuck in a connecting state. This was not an issue until we upgraded to 2.0, meaning I don't think the culprit is 1.54 dev. Any help much appreciated.

It looks like the phone was not connected to the RL (It's in "connecting" for Connection State). You can see Connection State if you tap on your RL in Loop's settings interface. It would be useful to know if this is what you frequently see. Also note that a RL out of batteries will show this state.

Some people noted issues with 1.5.4dev, but have had better experiences with the 1.5.4 release.

Yes I noticed this as well. It was not the RL as I flashed another one with 2.0 and had the same issues. Updated to the new dev. Any ideas of why would this be the case? update to loopkit?

@ddaniels1 have you tried updating your Loop to the newest version? Continuing to have issues? We've been running 2.0 without issue.
