Hi @Artur- ,Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We will look into this issue and will update you after investigating.

We notice the same behavior: some npm commands randomly get stuck on the Ubuntu 22 20250406.1.0 image, with no logs after they stuck, and the job eventually times out. However, it works on Ubuntu 24 20250406.1.0.

I've noticed the same and tore my hair out for a bit as documented in brimdata/zui#3059 (comment), so I'm glad to have found this issue.

I believe this issue may be due to the kernel. A new kernel version is scheduled to be rolled out this week. I will inform you once it has been completed. Thank you!

I just tried it and I'm getting the same result using the runner with Version: 20250415.1.0

I also just tried it and I see our jobs are hanging in the same way as they were before. I can see they're running on image Version: 20250415.1.0.
