Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

I have tried the Pre-Release of the extension.

  • I have replicated the Issue in the latest Pre-Release

Description

The current release is showing as unsigned.

I think the same problem is for all "Platform and Architeture"
for instance I've checked now on OS: Darwin x64 24.0.0

still seeing the issue on mac sequoia 15.1.1. Able to install anyway using the settings (cog) menu icon to the right of "install"

It's now Feb 15 and it still can't be installed due to this issue.

Guys the extension can be installed (especially the pre-release), this is just a warning that you can override. Many other extensions show it. I am not sure exactly why this is happening since the publisher is verified with Microsoft, and obviously all the packaged extensions we upload need to be signed (otherwise the upload to the VS Code marketplace would fail). Potentially it will go away on it's own in the next major release, but since I don't know why this is happening it's hard for me to tell how to fix.
