Since we've got to have a CI script to get hold of the pulseaudio internal development files, I thought it was worth putting in a bit of effort to make this available to Debian/Ubuntu users, particularly as most of our users seem to be running Ubuntu.
A draft wiki page describing how these are used is here:-
https://github.com/matt335672/xrdp/wiki/pulseaudio-build-on-Debian-or-Ubuntu
I've tested the scripts so far on Debian 10/11 and Ubuntu 16.04/18.04/20.04. Ubuntu 16.04 is a bit moot as the version of xrdp packaged with the OS doesn't support audio.
Scripts are renamed to include
_apt
so there's scope for adding similar scripts for yum/dnf if we really want to.
