  • Stable releases should be GH releases
  • Titled by the next version e.g. 1.2.0
  • Preview releases should be a next GH pre-release
    • if next release exists (it always will except for the first release ever) then edit it in place. Because this issue is not about the release contents, it means there may be nothing to do for this point. Simply force updating which commit the next tag points to may be enough to update the next release as outlined here.
