This page will outline the basics procedure of making a new page on Pipeline

Making a new article

  1. Log into your account
  2. On the sidebar click on Pages and then click on the section name

NOTE, DO NOT CLICK ON THE EDIT BUTTON OR THE ARROW FOR THE SECTION

  1. Now it should say the name of the section at the top of the page and then below should be a list of articles in the section. If this is not the case then you likely clicked on the edit button, go back and click on the part with the name of the section
  2. Click on + Add Child Page
  3. You should be brought to a new page with the header, NEW Article Page

Basic Layout of the Article Page

The article page is broken down into three tabs; Content, Promote, and Settings.

The content tab is where all of the information about the article is filled out. This will be where the text of the article will go and where information like the headline, author, and kicker will be specified.

The promote tab is where information about the URL and any metadata is specified.

The Settings tab is currently only used for the scheduling feature which is currently broken.
